Successful Sports Parenting

NJSRA supports successful Sports Parenting, and continues to work with USSA in helping Parents learn about the different aspects of “successful Sports Parenting”. The following documents are supplied by USSA and explain various levels of age appropriate sports parenting.

Help your child succeed in sport by becoming a better sports parent using the Successful Sports Parenting CD-ROM. This CD was developed in collaboration with USA Swimming and the U.S. Ski and Snowboards Association with contributions made by United States Tennis Association and Dan Gould, PhD, Director of the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports, Michigan State University. The information contained in this CD will help parents, clubs and coaches develop a better working relationship enhancing the parent - coach - club sports triangle.
